Dystebenna stephensi

Rare resident.

Quercus spp. with larva feeding in the bark of old oaks.
A species associated with ancient parkland oaks, but found in VC37 to be breeding on relatively young trees in a small relic ancient woodland. Has also appeared in garden light traps in recent years.
Can be seen flying around the trunks of trees during the day.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
