Common resident.

Mines the leaves of Qurcus spp. with larva feeding in October/November. In a narrow gallery leading to a blotch, usually in the angle between the midrib and a vein. Larval head blackish-brown, and larva ejecting frass through a slit in the lower epidermis of the mine. Often many mines in a leaf.
