Clepsis spectrana

Common resident of marshes, ditches, wet commons, pools, canals and riversides.

Polyphagous on herbaceous plants in wet habitats, especially Epilobium hirsutum. Larvae feeding in spun shoots, flowers and leaves in May to July with a small secon brood in August/ September.
