Uncommon local resident of wet commons.

Genista anglica with larva mining the leaves from September to May, in a small, flat, herring-bone pattern case made from leaf fragments.

Two colonies lost in recent years in Worcestershire. It is likely now extinct in the county.

Determination by Genitalia Examination (gen. det.) Required

Case: A good quality photo or specimen of the case and plant/pabulum is required.
