Fairly common resident.

Quercus spp. with larvae mining leaves in autumn and feeding on oak catkins in the spring in a small curved case. Then mining leaves until May in a pale brown tubular trivalved case.

Determination by Genitalia Examination (gen. det.) Required

Case: A good quality photo or specimen of the case and plant/pabulum and gen. det. of bred moth is required.
