Common resident.

Pyracantha, Crataegus, Malus, Pyrus, Prunus avium, P. spinosa, Chaenomeles japonica, Cotoneaster frigidus and Sorbus spp. with feeding larva possible in every month of the year, in a silvery mine on the upper side of the leaf.
