Sitochroa palealis

([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)1370 / 63.014

A rare species of rough grassland on light soils, mainly in the south of the region. The larvae feed amongst the seed heads of Wild Carrot Daucus carota. Adults can be disturbed during the day but later come to light.

Recorded in 14 (10%) of 140 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1998.
Last Recorded in 2021.
