A common resident in the Severn and and lower Wye valleys but rare further north.

A species of damp or boggy woodland, especially with old stands of birch and willow.

Overwinters as a small larva while adults fly from dusk and visit sugar and come to light.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
