Little Thorn
Cepphis advenaria

Generally a rare and local species in the south, however, after an apparent absence of around one hundred years it has recently become quite common again in the Wyre Forest.

A species of sunny open woodland, and along verges of rides.

Overwinters as a pupa, adults come to light in small numbers.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
